Valerie (Therrien) Mathieu

HOLYOKE-Valerie M. Therrien Mathieu, 55, of Holyoke, MA passed away Sunday, July 03, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family and friends.  Born in Bridgeport, CT, Valerie is pre deceased by her parents, Laurence and Laura M. (Perry) Therrien, brother, Laurence and a nephew Dominic.  She was a graduate of Fermi High, Enfield, CT and had worked in the Radiology Department at Cooley Dickinson Hospital for the past ten years.  She leaves to cherish her memory, husband, Crispin Mathieu, brother, Walter P. Therrien and sister-in-law Marie of Webster, MA, sister, Doris Angelo and her husband Thomas of Spencer, MA, sister, Barbarajean Conant and her husband Michael of Oxford, MA, brother, Larry of Florida, nieces, Jessica and Jennifer, many nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, cherished friends and coworkers and her feline companions, Pepper and Cassie.  Please consider a donation in Valerie’s memory to American Cancer Society, 59 Bobala Rd., Holyoke, MA 01040.  Services will be private and entrusted to Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA.  Please visit Valerie’s memorial page at www.avaloncelebrations.com
