Susan was born in Germany on June 2, 1927, and immigrated to the United States after World War II.
Susan had worked as a lunch lady in the New York Public School System.
Nature found her best friend in Susan. She enjoyed a variety of outdoor activities that allowed her to be surrounded by all the life-giving and nurturing aspects Mother Nature had to offer. Susan enjoyed hiking and growing her own vegetables and flowers, just to name a few. In her spare time, she also enjoyed sewing and cooking for her family and friends.
Susan is predeceased by her parents, her husband Carl Boyer, her brother Peter, her sister Marianne, and her son-in-law Walter Dziengelewski. She is survived by her daughter Vivian Dziengelewski of Southwick, MA.
Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA is assisting the family with arrangements. There will be no calling hours or services.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial donation to The Simon Foundation Inc.
