GRANVILLE-Sarah Jane (Kiikka) Edwards, 71, passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019, at Baystate Noble Medical Center in Westfield, MA.
Sarah was born on December 2, 1947, in Painesville, Ohio to John Kiikka and Mary (Worley) Kiikka.
She had worked for many years at Connecticut National Bank and Bank of America as an International Banking Application Analyst. Sarah had a heartfelt passion for Golden Retrievers, which she shared with her husband. They raised dogs over the years and assisted with their placement in loving forever homes. She enjoyed training Golden Retrievers for show and sharing her knowledge with handlers and owners.
Sarah is predeceased by her parents John and Mary Kiikka. She leaves her husband of 48 years John Edwards of Granville, MA.
To honor Sarah’s wishes, a private cremation will take place. There will be no calling hours. She will be laid to rest in the Kiikka family plot in Ohio. A burial service will be held in the Spring. In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation in Sarah’s name to American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
