Sandra Marie (McIntyre) McIntyre

AGAWAM-Sandra Marie McIntyre, 68, passed away July 5, 2018, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Sandra was born on December 15, 1949, in East Orange, New Jersey to John Joseph McIntyre and Elizabeth Deborah (McClements) McIntyre.  She graduated from Maplewood High School in New Jersey.  In 1990 Sandra graduated with honors from UMass Amherst earning her bachelor’s degree in Primary Education all while working and supporting her family and children.  Sandra’s family was her pride, she taught her children how to read at an early age and instilled in them the value of hard-work and trust.  Many will remember Sandra for her generosity not only to her children but also the many children in her neighborhood.  She enjoyed cooking and sharing her love of food with her neighbors and friends.   In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting, going to art museums, and estate sales.  Predeceased by her parents, her son-in-law Ramon L.
