ROBERT JOHN RAE

Robert J Rae, 76, of Southwick, MA entered into his eternal rest on June 2nd surrounded by this family's love.

Robert was born on March 5, 1948, in Springfield, MA to Robert J Rae Sr. and Leona G. (Ligarski) Rae.

He leaves his beloved wife and soul mate Ermelinda B. (Francisco) Rae. They were married on January 4, 1975, and blessed with over 49 years of happiness, together they built a life with love and laughter.

Robert and Ermelinda treasured their summer vacations spent at Cape Cod. You could always find them relaxing at Campground Beach, Eastham, MA surrounded by the many friends they made over the years.

During the summer you would find Bob in his garden, listening to country music and oldies. He was an avid gardener and an amazing cook. His family and friends will miss Bob’s #1 best Macaroni Salad and homemade spaghetti and meatballs.

Besides Bob's parents, he was predeceased by his sister Carol A. Rae.

Robert will be sadly missed by his wife Ermelinda, brother Ronald, sister-in-law Eileen Dawidjan and her husband Nick, sister-in-law Toni Marcus and her husband John, nephew, Robert Francisco, great nephew, Parker Doering, nieces, Amanda Rae, Marina Doering, and Sierra Antos.

Family and friends are invited to gather for a celebration of life from 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM on Saturday, June 22, 2024, at Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, 691 CollegeHwy, Southwick, MA followed by a short funeral home service at 11:30 AM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Robert's memory to the Michael J. Dias Foundation, 398 East Street, Ludlow, MA 01056
