Patricia O'C (O'Connell) Reach

LONGMEADOW-Patricia O’Connell Reach left us October 12, 2018 having lived a full, purposeful life. She joins her parents William and Grace O’Connell of Dalton; her husband of 57 years Milton; her sisters Hope, Priscilla and Judy, her nephew Rusty and her son William. She leaves her daughter Melinda and son Milton along with their spouses; two grandsons, nieces, nephews and the many whom she befriended.

Born October 24, 1924, Pat was raised in Dalton and spent most of her adult life in Westfield where she raised her family, built a successful manufacturing business and had an outsized impact on the community. In her later years, she lived at Glenmeadow where her zest and sense of humor fostered many new substantive friendships. The Prayer Boulder at Stanley Park describes well how Patricia Reach led her life: “Give me a quick perception of the feelings and needs of others and make me eager hearted in helping them.”
