Nicholas J. Gelsomini

WESTFIELD-Nicholas Joseph Gelsomini, 78, longtime resident of Ipswich MA, died Tuesday, April 11, 2017, following a long battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Quincy MA, February 23, 1939, husband of the late Wanda (Becker) Gelsomini, son of the late Nicholas and Santina (Purpura) Gelsomini and brother of the late, John, Anthony, Joseph and Victor Gelsomini. Nicholas will be remembered most for his love of family, fishing and coaching. He is survived by three sons, Michael Gelsomini and his wife Sara, Louis Gelsomini, Steven Gelsomini and his wife Marlene, five grandchildren, Alexandria, Kyle, Anthony, Tysen and Mia as well as his second wife Annette.

A service celebrating his life will be held on Saturday, April 29th at 11AM at The Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Parrish, 127 Holyoke Rd Westfield MA 01085.Memorial contributions in his name may be made to the Jimmy Fund or the Cancer Research Institute www.cancerresearch.org.
