NEWTON THOMPSON, JR. Obituary

SOUTHWICK-Newton (Tiny) Thompson, Jr., 79, passed away on Monday, August 10, 2020 at his home in Southwick, MA.  At the time of his passing, Tiny was surrounded by those he loved the most, his devoted and loving family. 

Tiny was born in Springfield, MA on December 12, 1940,  to Pauline (Parker) and Newton Thompson Sr.  He moved to Southwick, MA in 1947 where he grew up with his sisters Charlotte, Pearl, and Paula, and his brothers Russell and Kenny.

He met and married the love of his life, Ann (Whipple) in 1959.

Tiny is survived by his wife Ann and their four children ~ Selina (Tony) Fedora, Tami Thompson, Shawn (Kris) Thompson, Cheryl (Joe) Radwilowicz.

Tiny was a precision machinist by trade and his passions were hunting, fishing, bowling, motorcycle riding...

Tiny was devoted to his family and blessed with 18 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.

Tiny spent a lot of time at the Southwick Senior Center where he volunteered, delivering bread and always willing to lend a hand.

Tiny was loved by many and will live on in the hearts of all whom loved him, living passionately and with great humor.

Tiny’s family will celebrate his life and legacy with a private service.
