Linda Marie Swindell

WESTFIELD – Linda Marie Swindell, 62, of Westfield, MA passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA after a long battle with cancer.   

Linda was born on November 28, 1958, in Northampton, MA to James Albert Swindell and Barbara Louise (Durbin) Swindell.  

Linda lived most of her life in Westfield, MA.  She graduated from Westfield High School Class of 1977.  Linda was a member of the Second Congregational Church in Westfield, MA. 

Linda worked 35 plus years at Old Colony Envelope Company.  Throughout her life, she also worked at Newberry’s, Roy Rogers, and Caldors. 

Linda loved animals and had many cats over the years.  She enjoyed crocheting, reading, and playing video games. 

Many will remember Linda for her big heart and her willingness to help anyone in need.  She was a loyal and great friend to all who knew her. 

Linda is predeceased by her parents James and Barbara Swindell.  She leaves 2 sisters Debora Pierce and her husband Wayne of Chester, MA and Laurie Braman and her husband Randy of Lakewood, PA, her niece Amanda Calhoun and her husband Brian, 2 nephews Joshua Braman of NY and Winter Braman of SC, 2 great-nephews Logan and Tanner and her great-niece Makayla, her best friend Tammy Zuccala of AZ, along with church family, many friends, and co-workers.

A memorial service and burial will be planned later this year, service details will be announced.
