LOUIS BARTON JOHNSON III

GRANVILLE – Louis Barton Johnson III, 76, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. 

Louis was born on November 16, 1947, in Westfield, MA to Louis B Johnson Jr and Elizabeth A (Murphy) Johnson. 

Louis served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era.  In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, puttering around his home and yard, listening to music, and grillin and chillin with family and friends. 

Louis is predeceased by his father Louis B Johnson Jr and his brother Daniel Johnson. 

He leaves his wife of 30 years Susan Bartnicki of Granville, MA, his mother Elizabeth Johnson, his sons Dana Johnson and his wife Sharon of MA, and Joe Johnson of MI, his daughter Jill Johnson of MI, his step-daughters Tina Mosher of MA, and Renee Lynn  of MA, his brother Kevin Johnson and his wife Bonnie of MA, 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren along with many other family members and friends.  

Services for Louis are private.  Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy, Southwick, MA 01077 is assisting the family with end of life arrangements.
