Juliette "Julie" M. Benard

AGAWAM-Mrs. Juliette “Julie” M. Benard, 62, peacefully passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at her home in Agawam, MA surrounded by the love and devotion of her family.  Juliette was born on July 21, 1954 in Westfield, MA to the late Wilfred and Dama Sylvain.   She was a graduate of Westfield High School class of 1972 and had worked in retail sales for many years.  Juliette enjoyed a lively game of Scrabble and had a close circle of Words With Friends challengers.  Her greatest passion was writing, Juliette and her friends formed a writing workshop to assist low income and disabled women cope with their daily challenges.  Predeceased by her parents, brother, George, and 2 sisters Donna and Ann, she leaves her husband, Richard Benard of Agawam, MA, sons: Aaron Benard (Shaina),  Neill Benard (Crystal) and Richard Benard (Nichole);  daughters: Katie Benard,  Allison Benard (Lewis), Kayla Bonafilia and Carie Condarcuri (Brian) all of MA; her brothers, Ray and  John, sisters: Carol, Michelle, and Gina,  10 grandchildren: Donavin, Riley, Ciera, Javien, Kaylee, Aryah, Emma, Bryen, Jeliani and Jaxciel along with countless other family members and close friends.  Julie will be missed by all who knew her.  A committal service will be held in the Chapel of the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery on Friday, September 16, 2016 at 9AM.   Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA has been entrusted with the arrangements.  To express a condolence or share a photo please visit Juliette’s memorial page at www.avaloncelebrations.com
