John Thompson Rock, Sr.

SOUTHWICK – John T. Rock, Sr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, April 13, 2021, at Westfield Gardens in Westfield, MA.

John was born on June 7, 1944, in Springfield, MA to the late Francis and Dorothy (Thompson) Rock.

Other than his parents, John is predeceased by his wife Carol (Daignault) Rock and his sister Carol Gaynor and her husband Richard.

He leaves his daughters Darcie Rock of Southwick, MA, and Shellie Rock of Chicopee, MA, his son John T. Rock, Jr. and his wife Kristina of Southwick, MA, his grandchildren: Amie Flagg, RJ Flagg, Jamie Glynn, Jeremy Lamoureux, and Justin Lamoureux; his great-grandchild Adam Flagg, his nephew Daniel Gaynor, along with many other family members and friends. 

A viewing will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, from 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM at Avalon Funeral & Cremation Services, 691 College Hwy, Southwick, MA 01077.  Burial will follow in Southwick Cemetery.
