James A. Cressotti, 71, fondly known as Jimmy, passed away peacefully at home on May 13, 2020.
Born on October 16, 1948, in Springfield, MA to the late Doris (Albano) Cressotti and the late Harry Cressotti. Jimmy earned his Associates Degree from Holyoke Community College and went on to become a successful business owner. He owned and operated a popular Feeding Hills institution, The Village Lounge, for over 25 years.
A friend to all, Jimmy brought smiles to everyone he encountered. Jimmy was an avid sports fan and loved the Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, and especially the Red Sox.
Jimmy leaves his son, Jeffrey Cressotti and his partner Kate Curley; daughters Lauren Musa and her husband Jeremy, Kalynn Cressotti; his beloved grandson, Maddox James Musa; his loving sisters and best friends, Jean Cressotti and Jane Fazio and her husband Tony, all of Agawam; his great-nephew Michael Graveline, his wife Ashley and their daughter Nora Grace of Westfield; he also leaves former spouses Mary Ellen (Hurley) Cressotti and Tracy (Castelli) Philp, both of Agawam.
He was predeceased by his niece, Gretchen Graveline.
To honor and celebrate Jimmy’s life, the family will hold a private service.
