JOAN A (TOPOLSKI) MONTANO

AGAWAM – Joan A. Montano, 90, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024, at Agawam North Rehab and Nursing.

Joan was born in Ranshaw, PA on April 22, 1934, to the late Stanley and Frances (Geslock) Topolski.

Joan was a resident of Agawam for the past 23 years, moving from Springfield in 2002.

Joan retired from Food Mart Grocery where she had worked for over 35 years. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills, MA.  Joan was married to her late husband of 52 years, Joe Montano.

Joan leaves her son Joseph L. Montano II and his wife Jennifer, her daughters Christine Mayberry and her husband Richard and Donna Freeman and her husband Larry Freeman, her brother Robert Topolski and his wife Judy, 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.

A funeral mass will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 1061 Springfield St, Agawam, MA at 10:00 AM on Friday, May 31, 2024.   Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 421 Tinkham Rd, Springfield, MA
