JESSIE LOUISE (SAWYER) WILLIAMS

HUNTINGTON - Jessie Louise Williams, 75, peacefully passed away on November 2nd, 2022 at Westfield Center Nursing Home. At the time of her passing she was surrounded by her loved ones.

Jessie was born in Springfield, Massachusetts on October 10, 1947 to the late Clayton Stillings Sawyer and Gladys Evelyn Sawyer (Belcher).

Jessie resided in Huntington, MA where she devoted much of her time fundraising for kids in need. Jessie helped raise funds for Camp Sunshine and The American Stroke Association among others. Jessie loved the outdoors and was a member of the Springfield Camping and Outdoor Club.

Jessie is survived by her loving husband, Irvin Glenn Williams III of Huntington, MA , her sons; Emile “Butch” Donovan of Germany, Kevin Donovan and his wife Kim of Enfield, CT, Thomas Donovan and his wife Melissa of Mt. Pleasant, PA, Glenn Williams and his life partner Erica of Sutton, MA. Jessie also leaves behind her brother Bruce Sawyer and his wife Mary of Brookfield, MA, her sister Kathy Caron of Worthington, MA, her eight grandchildren Denise “DJ” Quintero, Heather Donovan, Sara Sarno, Emily Grant, Julie Donovan, Leah Duncan, Brenna Donovan, and Joscelyn Donovan, her three great grandchildren Joel, Lena and Cedric along with many other family members and friends.
