CHICOPEE, MA / NEW YORK, NY – Ileene A. Ford, 82, passed away at her home in Chicopee, MA on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. Ileene was surrounded by her loving family at the time of her passing.

Ileene was born on February 17, 1941, in New York City, New York to the late William T. Jones and Blanche O. Jones (Dodson)

Ileene earned an associate degree in early childhood development and nursing and had worked in the New York City Public School System as a Paraprofessional for 32 years.

Ileene enjoyed spending time with her 4 amazing grandchildren. Ileene also enjoyed testing her luck with gambling, and luck was often on her side.

Other than her parents, Ileene is also predeceased by her husband Charles E. Ford, Sr.

Survivors include her son Charles E. Ford, Jr. and his wife Kendra of Chicopee, MA, her grandchildren: Tiana, Jacy, Lydia, and Ella; along with many other friends and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held in New York at a later date.
