Gail Carlson

CHICOPEE-Gail Mengel Carlson, 58, passed away on Friday, May 06, 2016 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.  Born on July 19, 1957 in Springfield, MA Gail had worked as a Home Health Aide for many years in the Springfield area.  She had spent the last 10 years with the love of her life, Donald Keller of Granby, MA.  Gail will be remembered as a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend.  Predeceased by her Mother, Shirley Carpenter, Step-Father, Kenneth Carpenter and sister Nancy Mengel, she leaves her daughter, Jennifer Helmer (Shaun) of Palm Coast, FL, her brother, David Mengel of Chicopee,  MA with whom she shared a special bond with throughout the years, her sister-in-law, Kathy Mengel of Chicopee,  MA along with the entire Hebert family, her grandchildren, Ashley and Kyle Helmer of Palm Coast, FL and her nieces Katelyn and Melissa Mengel of  Chicopee, MA.  End of Life services have been entrusted to Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA 01077.
