Obituary
Gerald A. Willcox Sr. 88, passed away peacefully in the early hours of May 27, 2023.
He was born in Newtown (Sandy Hook) Connecticut to John Harris Willcox and Mary Etta Meade Willcox on June 4, 1934.
Gerald served his country honorably in the Navy during the Korean War.
He was married to Jeanette Falis Willcox and raised a family of four children; Doreen Willcox Armstrong, Gerald A. Willcox Jr. Kevin Willcox and Susan Willcox. Gerald worked as a machinist most of his life until retiring in 1990. He then moved to Tennessee where he enjoyed wood working for his remaining years.
Gerald was blessed with 16 Grandchildren and 14 Great Grandchildren. He is survived by his brother Roland Willcox and his wife, Gerry Willcox, of Danbury CT.
Graveside services will be on Friday, June 2nd, 2023, 11:00am at Saint Peter Cemetery, 71 Lake Avenue Extension, Danbury CT 06810
