EDWARD G. DUNN

WEST SUFFIELD, CT-Edward Gordon Dunn, 68, of West Suffield CT passed away peacefully on April 24th, 2020.  

Eddie was born on November 2nd, 1951, and resided in Southwick Ma for most of his life.  He married his wife Phyllis in 1978 and had three children.  The family moved to West Suffield, CT in 1990. 

Eddie was an incredibly hard worker and spent most of his career at Hamilton Standard, where he was employed for over 40 years, retiring in 2013.  He loved outdoor activities throughout his life finding joy in canoe racing, running, deep-sea fishing, camping, darts, and most importantly motorcycles.  Most of all Eddie was a family man and family meant everything to him. He was a loyal Raiders fan which differed greatly from his family and friends causing quite the controversy on football Sundays.   

Eddie is pre-deceased by his father, William H. Dunn, his sister, Patricia (Dunn) Scuderi, his brother, Robert Dunn, and his cherished son-in-law Bradford John Emmelmann.

Eddie leaves his beloved wife of nearly 42 years, Phyllis (Johnson) Dunn, his children, Erika Emmelmann, Justin Edward Dunn, Kerri White & her husband Nathaniel, his adored granddaughters, Brooke & Skylar Emmelmann and Payton & Riley White, his mother, Ethel (Hendry) Dunn, his brothers, William Leland Dunn, Lawrence Dunn, and Harry Dunn, his sisters Bonnie Norris, and Diane Orlando and her husband Christan, his mother & father-in-law, Allen & Elisabeth Johnson, whom he was very close with, his sister in law Debra Dunn, along with man other family members and friends. 

Services will not be held at this time.  Family & friends will be invited to a Celebration of Life later in the year.
