Danny A. Monfette

WESTFIELD – Danny A. Monfette, 50, passed away on Thursday 26, December 2019, at Holyoke Medical Center in Holyoke, MA. 

Danny was born on April 11, 1969, in Holyoke, MA to Joseph Maurice Monfette and Shirley M. (Gagnon) Monfette. 

Danny had worked in construction and paper manufacturing for many years. 

Danny’s life passion was fishing.  He enjoyed spending countless days casting his line from his boat or from shore.  In his spare time, he also enjoyed ice fishing and woodworking, making many special gifts for his family and friends over the years. 

During the Winter of 2005-06, Danny faced a life-threating medical emergency.  It was during this time he dedicated his life to Christ.

Danny is predeceased by his parents Joseph Maurice Monfette and Shirley M. Ayers.

He is survived by his wife Theresa Monfette of Westfield, MA, his brothers Thomas Hopper and Robert Monfette, his sisters Linda Costa and Susan Delargy, his step-son Thomas Skrodzki and his wife Melissa of Russell, MA, 10 step-grandchildren, 3 step-great-grandchildren, along with other family members and friends. 

A private memorial cremation will take place.  There will be no viewing or calling hours.  End of life arrangemtns have been entrusted to Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA 01077.
