DARICE A DEWEY

WEST SUFFIELD – Darice A. Dewey, 64, passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023, at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford, CT.   Darice was surrounded by her devoted family at the time of her passing. 

Darice was born in Hartford, CT on September 16, 1959, to Bertram M Dewey and Eleanor (Bogoslofski) Dewey.

Darice had attended the Gengras Center for Exceptional Children in West Hartford, CT

Darice loved nature and gardening.  Darice and her mother Eleanor enjoyed growing and propagating perennials which they sold at a small farm stand on their property.  In her spare time, Darice enjoyed writing in her journal and shopping. 

Darice is predeceased by her father Bertram Dewey. 

Survivors include her mother Eleanor Dewey of West Suffield, CT, her aunt and guardian Deborah Bogoslofski of Windsor Locks, CT and her aunt Ann Bogoslofski of East Granby, CT, her cousin Serena Fuller of Westfield, MA, along with many other family members. 

A private burial will be held in St. Bernard Cemetery in Tariffville, CT in the Spring of 2024
