CAROL ANN (HEBDA) KRATOCHVIL

Carol Ann Kratochvil, 74, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at Westfield Gardens Nursing Home.  At the time of her passing, Carol was surrounded by her loving and devoted family. 

Carol was born on February 11, 1949, in Westfield, MA to Joseph Hedba and Elisa (Gruneiro) Hebda.

Carol attended Holy Trinity Elementary School and graduated from Westfield High School.  Carol has been a lifelong member of St. Mary’s Parish. 

Carol was a devoted grandmother to her 5 amazing grandchildren.  She enjoyed spending time with nature working in her yard and gardens.  Carol was a member of Decorative Painters, a painting club that met weekly at the West Springfield Senior Center. 

Carol is predeceased by her parents Joseph and Elisa Hebda. 

Survivors include her husband Dale Kratochvil, Sr of Russell, MA, her sons: Dale Kratochvil, Jr. of Russell, MA, Jason Kratochvil and his wife Katie of Westfield, MA, and Dana Kratochvil and his wife Brooke of Russell, MA, her brother Joseph Hebda and his wife Michaelana of Westfield, MA, her sister Donna Robillard and her husband Gerald of Southwick, MA, her grandchildren: Jack Kratochvil, Max Kratochvil, Brynja Miltimore, Dylan Miltimore, and Ophelia Rodriguez, her cousin Bobby Battistoni of Southwick, MA, along with many other family members and friends. 

There are no calling hours.  A private burial will take place at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery in Agawam, MA.
