CARL H. ALLEN

WESTFIELD – Carl Holcomb Allen, 92, passed away on Sunday, May 2, 2021 at his home in Westfield, MA.

Carl was born on June 24, 1928 in Blandford, MA to Walter & Gladys (Nye) Allen.

A graduate of Westfield High School class of 1946, Carl proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War and served as Past American Legion Commander in Blandford, MA.

Carl was a master woodworker and enjoyed making board games for family. He built his own boat, and was a fantastic gardener. He also enjoyed golf and hunting. Carl was a generous donor to various charity organizations.

Carl is predeceased by his parents Walter & Gladys (Nye) Allen, his sister, Alice Shepard (Arthur), his brothers, Robert Allen (Myrtle) and Thomas Allen (Doris)

Carl is survived by his sister Sandra Wyman and her husband Art of Blandford, MA, along with many other family members.

Private funeral service will be held for family only.
