Bertram Manley Dewey, Jr.

WEST SUFFIELD, CT-Bertram Dewey, Jr. of West Suffield, CT died March 20, 2017.  He was born in Granby, CT son of the late Bertram and Eva (Carlson) Dewey.  Mr. Dewey is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Eleanor and daughter, Darice. He also leaves 2 brothers, Carl of Hardwick, MA and Paul of Granby, CT, brother-in-law Raymond Bogoslofski and his wife Ann of East Granby, CT, sister-in-law Deborah Bogoslofski of Windsor Locks, CT and nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his niece Wendy Dewey of Tucson, AZ. He served in the U.S. Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict.  His life-long work was building custom homes in the Farmington Valley area.  The family wishes to acknowledge with gratitude the services and loving care from Masonicare and St. Francis Hospital, Oncology 6th Floor-2.  Services are private and entrusted to Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, Southwick, MA.  Please visit Bertram’s memorial page at www.avaloncelebrations.com
