Berangere (Bea) (Banville) Bourbeau

CHICOPEE-Berangere (Bea) Bourbeau, 84, lost her battle with bladder cancer.  She died in her home with family and friends by her side. Born in Drummondville Canada, lived in Chicopee, MA since 1978, winters in Jensen Beach Florida. Preceded by her husband Rosaire (Rosie)  Bourbeau who passed in 2010. She leaves behind her daughter Linda McBride and Rocky Pafumi and her sons Richard and Ann Chenier, Michael and Sandra Bourbeau, Norman and Gail Bourbeau. Her dear boyfriend Eugene Brodeur, his daughters and their spouses Denise and Jack Wessig, Susan and Bob Menard and Linda and Russ Clark.  She will also be missed by her grandchildren, Julie McBride, Jennifer and Jesse Michalowski, Erica Bourbeau, Mikey and Christine Bourbeau, Chantal Bourbeau, Ashley Bourbeau, Daniel and Michelle Bourbeau and her great grandchildren Oliver ,Henry , Aiden and Caleb. She leaves brothers and sisters and numerous nieces and nephews. She will also be missed by her network of extended family, friends,  and neighbors especially in Chicopee, Canada, and Jensen Beach. In lieu of flowers, please express your love for Bea;  by showing a stranger a random act of kindness. Bea loved to entertain, she loved family hosted parties at the “KiKi” bar, we all know it as Rich’s Tiki Bar. Berangere showed her passion for gardening and planting flowers around her home in Chicopee and Jensen Beach.  She was a great seamstress, loved   playing cards, going to the casino and playing the slots machines, baking blueberry and strawberry rhubarb pies and her "famous" made from scratch carrot cake.  Bea’s life will be celebrated at 1PM on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Mary Mother of Hope, 840 Page Blvd., Springfield, MA.  End of life services have been entrusted to Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA 01077.  Please visit Bea’s memorial page at www.avaloncelebrations.com
