BRENDAN JAMES ROGOWSKI

SOUTHWICK - Brendan James Rogowski, a native of Oakville, CT and a resident of Southwick, MA passed away on Wednesday, July 13, 2022.

Brendan was born in Waterbury, CT and raised in Oakville. While attending St. John School, he participated in basketball, baseball as well as various Water-Oak and Wolcott recreational leagues. Brendan graduated from Holy Cross High School - Class of 1994. He went on to attend Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI.

While residing in Southwick, Brendan worked at Ocean State Job Lot where he was a valued employee and well-liked by management and his peers. He was a natural at cooking and adept at solving technological problems. Additionally, he had an interest in oceanography and marine biology. He loved playing competitive games with friends such as playing cards, chess, darts, and pool. He was a dog-lover, a music fan, and an avid follower of Pink Floyd. Brendan had a strong will and a big heart.

He is survived by: his mother, Jean Shaw; his father, Roger Rogowski; his sister, Trisha Rogowski Deka; his nieces, Taylor “Ty” and Rachel Deka; his cousins, Ben and Evan Rogowski, Brandy Sears (with whom he shared a special relationship), Lisa Sears Tucker along with her husband Doug; and his aunt Carol and uncle Chris Sears. Brendan also leaves a number of other family members and friends.

All services for Brendan will be private.
