ALICE CHEKOVSKY Obituary
WESTFIELD – Alice E. Chekovshy, 85, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2020, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.
Alice was born on February 18, 1935, in Springfield, MA to Rosario F. Bergeron and Emelia (Sampson) Bergeron.
Alice was a devoted homemaker and wife, taking great pride in raising her 3 children. Alice enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and quilting in her spare time.
Alice is predeceased by her husband Edward J. Chekovsky, her parents Rosario and Emelia Bergeron, her bothers Arthur Bergeron, George Bergeron, Edward Bergeron, and her sisters Blanche Zygarkowski and Cecile Bergeron.
Alice is survived by her daughter Cecile Parenteau of Westfield, MA, her sons Edward J. Chekovsky, Jr. and his wife Joann of Maine and Robert D. Chekovsky and his wife Gail of Pepperell, MA, 9 grandchildren, 22, great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
A private burial service will be held at New Southwick Cemetery, Southwick, MA.
