Suzanne Dupuis Obituary

GRANVILLE- Suzanne “Nana” Dupuis, (nee Campbell), 72, passed away Friday, April 27, 2018, at Mercy Medical Center in Springfield, MA after battling Gastric cancer. Suzanne was born on December 4, 1945 in Hartford, Connecticut to James and Marion Campbell. She attended Cathedral High School where she graduated in 1962. Formerly employed as an accounts receivable specialist at Baystate Gas, she retired in 2008 to spend more time with her loved ones. Sue was a kind-hearted woman, a loving wife and mother. She constantly spoiled her grandchildren and was always baking her famous chocolate chip cookies. Family was her main priority and being the family matriarch was the highlight of her life. She will be remembered fondly as a jokester and chatterbox. She arranged time everyday to call her loved ones just to check in and chat about life. For many years, Sue enjoyed spending time surrounded by family and friends camping and visiting the beaches of Cape Cod and Rhode Island. In her free time, she was an avid reader and enjoyed Lifetime movies. She had a keen eye for bargain shopping and looked forward to her daily shopping trips. Predeceased by her parents, her spirit is carried on by her husband of 52 years Donald Dupuis of Granville, MA; her son Brian Dupuis and his wife Renee of West Suffield, CT; her daughter Michelle Dupuis of Granville, MA; her grandchildren Zach and Bria Dupuis; and her brother James Campbell and his wife Andrea of Florida. The family encourages those who knew Sue to carry on her memory by performing a random act of kindness. A private burial at sea will be held for the family.
