Rodger Yargeau

SOUTHWICK-Rodger Yargeau of Southwick, MA died on May 26, 2019, at home surrounded by his loving family. 

Rodger was a loving husband to Loretta for 56 years, a kind, gentle, supportive and loving father to Michelle and Michael, an involved, caring and loving grandfather to Emily, Nathan, and Noelle, along with Mario whom he thought of as his own grandson and a loving brother to his sister Jean Williams. 

Rodger worked for many years at National Cash Register in many capacities, ending as management. After his retirement, he started his own business, where he was a managing partner at R & R Services offering dental practice management software and hardware to dental offices throughout the northeast.  Rodger was an active member and the volunteer treasurer of Friends of the Southwick Rail Trail, which maintained the 6-plus miles of the multi-use rail trail passing through Southwick, MA. 

An avid do-it-yourselfer, if it was broken Rodger could fix it, never missing a moment to teach as he made his repairs. 

Rodger will be deeply missed by family and friends.

A celebration of Rodger’s life will be held at his home, 22 Woodland Ridge, Southwick, MA at 1:00 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019.
