Raymond Andrew Stanfield, Jr.

WESTFIELD-Mr. Raymond Andrew Stanfield, Jr., 63, passed peacefully on Sunday evening August 27, 2017 at his home in Westfield, MA.  Raymond was surrounded by his family at the time of his death.  Born on February 20, 1954 in Springfield, MA, he attended Southwick High School and graduated from Springfield Technical High School class of 1971.  Raymond was self-employed for many years as home improvement specialist.  Many will remember Raymond for his love and fascination with weather, he could spend hours watching the Weather Channel keeping informed with the many changes in weather around the country.  A diehard Red Soxs fan, he also enjoyed watching the Giants and supporting his cousin, Fred Stanfield on the ice for the Boston Bruins.  Predeceased by his father, Raymond Stanfield, Sr., he leaves his wife of 20 years Amy Stanfield of Westfield, MA, sons, Christopher Stanfield of Kentucky and Anthony Stanfield (Ali) of Springfield, MA, mother, Maude Stanfield of Springfield, MA, brother, Richard Stanfield of Ohio who cared for Raymond in his final days, daughter Robyn Stanfield of Springfield, MA  and his grandchildren Jermy & Jonathon Stanfield of Springfield, MA.                                       .
