Nathan Ryan Fuss

GRANBY, CT-Nathan Ryan Fuss, 34, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2018, in Bloomfield, CT.  Nathan was born on July 15, 1984, in Hartford, CT and attended South Windsor High School Class of 2002. Nathan proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He had worked for many years as Maintenance Mechanic at Walgreens Distribution Center in Windsor, CT.  As a young man, Nathan enjoyed BMX.  He was an outdoors enthusiast, enjoying fishing, hunting, and Skeet, winning many awards in shooting competitions.  He was a member of the Hartford Gun Club and Bloomfield Fish and Game Club.  Nathan is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Fred and Barbara Fuss, his maternal grandfather John F. Testa, and his step-brother Jason Massoni.  He leaves his father Fred Fuss and his wife Kathy Massoni-Fuss of Granby, CT, his mother Marie Harris and her husband Scott Harris of PA, his brother Jonathan Fuss of Granby, CT, his maternal grandmother Ella Testa and her husband Steven Scott of Vernon, CT, his aunts Debbie Benware of Granby, CT and Nancy Testa of MA, his uncle Thomas Testa and his wife Patricia of CT, his cousins: Frank Benware, Brie-Anna, Anthony, and Hannah Massoni, and Rylee Madrid, his dog and hunting companion Annie, along with many other family members and close friends. 

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12NOON-2:00PM on Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Highway, Southwick, MA 01077  A reception and celebration of Nathan’s life will be held from 3:00 – 6:00 PM at Bloomfield Game Club, 301 Terry Plains Rd., Bloomfield, CT 06002  In lieu of flowers please consider a memorial donation to the Granby Animal Shelter, 15 North Granby Rd., Granby, CT 06035.  Please make checks payable to Town of Hartland, include Town of Granby Animal Shelter on the memo line.  To express condolences, share memories, photos, or videos please visit Nathan’s memorial page at www.avaloncelebrations.com
