Mark Stephen Griffin

WESTFIELD-Mark Stephen Griffin, 43, passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA.

 Mark was born on October 30, 1975 in Westfield, MA to Lawrence H. and Judith A. (Phillips) Griffin. He attended Southwick-Tolland Regional School District and was a lifelong resident of Westfield, MA.

 Mark dedicated his entire adult life as a caregiver to his father who passed away in 2011. Many will remember him as a math wizard, an avid reader and the king of mastering complicated jigsaw puzzles. He also enjoyed video games, going to the casino, playing bingo, and visiting fairs and carnivals. Mark was very loving and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his great nieces and nephew, Emma, Brayden, Kathleen and Nakita Turgeon.

 He is predeceased by his father Lawrence H. Griffin and brother Stephen L. Griffin. Mark is survived by his mother Judith (Phillips) Griffin of Westfield,

MA, his brother Matthew Mihlek and his wife Leslie of Westfield, MA, his nieces Mia Griffin, Stephanie Turgeon and her husband Robert, Jr., his nephews Michael Griffin and Jonathan Griffin, along with many other family members and friends.
