Judith Lee (Kelleher) Kelleher

AGAWAM-Judith Lee Kelleher, 74, passed away on Thursday, March 08, 2018 at Heritage Hall West Nursing Home in Agawam, MA. 

Judith was born on August 22, 1943 in Springfield, MA to Francis and Flora (Moore) Kelleher.  Judith worked for HP Hood for over 30 years.  She began her career at HP Hood as a machine operator.  Over the years Judith held many positions at Hood, retiring as an Administrative Assistant.

Family was always important to Judith, although she never had any children of her own, she will be remembered by many as a mother figure. She enjoyed nurturing sick family members back to health and to good spirits, she dedicated many hours caring for her sick parents and her sister Joan.  Her great sense of humor, infectious laugh, big smile, and love for life will be a lasting legacy.

Always an avid Red Sox fan, Judith also enjoyed cooking for family and friends and of course the joy of going to the Casino.  She also enjoyed being near the water, often taking trips to Lee, MA to enjoy time at the Conway condo at the Oak-N-Spruce.  Judith was most happy sitting on the dock at the lake condo enjoying the peaceful nature and sunsets. 

She is predeceased by her parents, brothers, John Kenneth Kelleher and James Kelleher, sisters, Barbara Kelleher, Elizabeth (Sissy) McCain, and Joan Tilli, and brothers-in-law, William McCain and Dominick Tilli.  Judith’s big heart and guardian angel spirit will be missed by her brother Joseph Kelleher and his wife Barbara of Springfield, MA, sister Patricia Grady of West Springfield, MA, sisters-in-law, Elida (Bunny) Kelleher of East Longmeadow, MA and Louise Kelleher of Florida, her loving nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, Faith, Scott, Sean and Vera Conway whom she thought of as family, along with many other family members and friends.
