Joyce Marie (Voisine) LaForest

WESTFIELD-Joyce M. LaForest, 76, passed away May 9, 2018 at Baystate Noble Hospital in Westfield, MA.  Joyce was born on September 28, 1941 in Stockholm, Maine to Sylvio and Isabelle (Morin) Voisine.  She was a factory worker for many years and ended her work career as a Nanny, where she found great pleasure.  She kept a home filled with love, music, and many fun filled games of cards, Yahtzee, or whatever a child might want to do.  Her home was open to all.  Predeceased by her husband Allen Leonard LaForest, her parents Sylvio and Isabelle Voisine,  her brothers Red Fournier and Levi Fournier and his wife Sally,  she leaves her sons Gene A. LaForest of Westfield, MA and Ronald “Jeff” LaForest and his wife Lina of Oswego, New York, her daughters: Sharon A. Bednaz and her husband Ben of Westfield, MA, Anita “Nina: Eckenroth of Alabama, and Robin Gero and her husband Robert of Westfield, MA; her brothers Roger Voisine and his wife Ellen Lynn of Maine, Exior Voisine and his wife Sue of Connecticut, her sister Anita Emrick and her husband Bob of Ohio, four grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Mary of Connecticut,  along with many other family members and close friends.
