Beverly J. Papelardo

1944-2017

 

SPRINGFIELD-Beverly Papelardo, 72, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on May 02, 2017.  Beverly loved children, she was a school bus driver in the city of Chicopee for 18 years. Throughout the early years of her life, Beverly competed in horseback riding winning many blue ribbons.  She loved all animals and had rescued many strays over the years.  She was an avid bicycle rider and in her spare time enjoyed reading, dancing and listening to a wide genre of music.  Many will remember Beverly as a jokester who loved to make people laugh.  Predeceased by her brother Larry, she leaves her children: Timothy Margoles and his wife Ann Marie of Westfield, MA, Debra Margoles-Abdullah and her husband Muhammad of Norwich, CT and Gary Gaunt and his wife Wendy of Granville, MA, her grandchildren: Chelsea, Sara, Zachery, Sophia, Emma, Edward, Britanny and Chris, 4 great-grandchildren and her lifetime best friend Shelia Babin of Springfield, MA

 

Gary E Gaunt Sr.

1944-2017

 

SPRINGFIELD-Gary E. Gaunt, Sr., “Mr. Wizzard”, 73 passed away July 21, 2017 at Baystate Noble Hospital.  Born April 6, 1944 in South Hadley, MA to the late John and Elaine Gaunt, he attended South Hadley Schools.  Gary worked as an independent mail hauler for the US Postal Service for over 30 years and many years as a freight hauler.  His passion was trucking, he received numerous rewards and trophies for custom trucks.  Gary always had his tools and toolbox ready to work on anything mechanical.  He enjoyed NASCAR attending many events in New Hampshire and collected memorabilia in his spare time.   Since his childhood, Gary had a love for model airplanes and RC planes.  A strong willed man, driven and determined, Gary could be difficult at times.  He had his own way of getting things done.  Never afraid to voice his opinion, right or wrong, you always knew where you stood with him.  His work ethic allowed him to own and operate a successful business for many years. Gary enjoyed exercising daily and had recently purchased new equipment to get him back on track. He shared a passion for animals with Beverly. He leaves his brother Timothy Gaunt, his niece Kelly Gaunt along with his children listed above. 

A celebration of Beverly and Gary’s life will be held Wednesday, Aug. 09 from 4-6PM at Avalon Life Celebration Center & Cremation Services, LLC 691 College Hwy., Southwick, MA.  To express condolences, share memories or photos please visit www.avaloncelebrations.com
